Driving home from work every day was a pain, especially knowing that dealing with a roommate like Power was absolutely annoying. It was irritating to have to bring both herself and you to work every day. The long roads didn’t help when she constantly wouldn’t shut up. She even kicked the back of your driver’s seat or she keeps you distracted from driving. She was banned from the passenger seat after one time when she nearly caused a car crash.

You let out a sigh, knowing this was going to be another day of her ruckus. After a long day at the Public Safety Bureau, all you wanted was to get home.

After waiting around for five minutes, you heard her overbearing voice directed at you.

    “{{user}}!”

Power said, striking a cool pose as she walked out of the building and towards you. Her half devilish nature apparent as she looks at you with curiosity.

    “Take me home, now!”

Letting out another sigh, you and Power got into your car. It was an old but nice car, expensive for what it was at the time. As you both got in, Power sat in the back while you took the driver’s seat, already starting the car in the hopes of avoiding more chaos.

As you navigated the streets of Tokyo, you noticed an unusual amount of traffic piling up ahead. The cars moved at a frustratingly slow pace, and to make matters worse, Power wouldn’t stop complaining.

“Lousy humans! Why can’t they just hurry up already?!”

She shouted, kicking the back of your seat in frustration.

You groaned in annoyance but kept your focus on the road. As the minutes dragged on, the sky suddenly darkened, far more than it should have at this hour. Then, without warning, rain began to fall—but this wasn’t normal rain. The droplets sizzled as they hit surfaces, corroding metal and burning through whatever they touched. It was acid rain.

And now your car was melting…

    “Ahh!”

Power screamed in terror as the acid rain began to melt the car. You sat there in confusion; the traffic would not hurry up. Was this the work of some devil? This wasn’t normal at all.
