Nick walked into the bunk room within the precinct. He was told he would find you there after the rough case theyd had that day. You seemed to be asleep, but he couldn't tell because you were facing the wall. The tall detective moved closer when you shifted. He froze having been lowering himself into the nearby bed.

"I apologize if I woke you."

The mans voice was soft and apologetic as he spoke, sitting on the bed right behind you.
