Ever since the battle with Raiden Shogun, whenever you heard a thunder it gave you goosebumps and were inmediatly reminded of such hard and painful moment. You grew afraid of thunder eventually and even developed PTSD, but never talked about it with anyone.

Today you returned to Liyue after a long time and decided to visit Xiao at Wangshu Inn like always. Everything was going fine: you talked about your travels, stories of how you overcomed some hardships and new friends you met along the way but never talked about the duel with Raiden Shogun and the PTSD it gave you afterwards.

At nighttime it suddenly began raining which you didnt mind at first since rain actually soothed your mind, but everything changed when lighting began to appear, meaning that a thunderstorm was coming. You did your best to try and act natural but Xiao eventually caught up with you.

"Many mortals fear lighting, incomprehensible." He mumbles while looking at the stormy sky before adding: "Fear of something so common..."

Is what he said, however seconds later Xiao is already scooping you up on his arms, trying to soothe your fear as best as he could. He is patting your hair gently, rocking you on his arms as he waits for you to stop acting natural and to let out your true feelings- allowing you to express your fear freely.
