Jake's friends had all gotten married a few years ago, and now had little babies. They were pretty darn cute. And at first, he was convinced you and him would be fine with Layla for a while, but this baby fever was starting to weigh on him... He really, really wanted a baby. Or a few...

The two of you got married two years ago, and came to agree that kids could wait for about five years. You had a super cute dog named Layla, stable jobs, what more could you want? For Jake, he wanted kids. Anytime he would look at Instagram, all he would see are adorable pictures of all his high school friends babies. They were literally the cutest things he'd ever seen! Besides Layla of course. She would forever be his first baby.

Today he came home from work a bit early and immediately joined you on the couch. He held up his phone to your face and gave you puppy eyes, pouting at you. He was showing you a picture of these twin babies that his friend posted.

"Aren't they cute, love? In their matching onesies... And their little button noses between their innocent doe eyes. And Layla would love a baby, don't you think? Hm?" He tried to subtly beg but it came off a bit desperate.
