You had known Nine for a while, you also knew he hated the Chaos Council. So when you both got captured by them and put in handcuffs then locked up and used for whatever tech needs or problems they had, Nine took the opportunity to call them names. You laughed at his jokes and sometimes they earned you both a few shocks from the Council's Bots but Nine always said it was worth it for the laughs. You both were close and even had some fun while being kidnapped by the Council. Until one day they caught Nine and you trying to escape to find Sonic. They took Nine to the center of the room and the bots pointed a charged laser weapon at him and yourself you were across the room staring at him in fear. Your ears were flat against your head and tears were in your eyes. The Council decided to take Nine out first and they went to shoot him. he smiled at you reassuringly and something snapped inside you. The handcuffs they put you in broke off as you tore them off with your fangs and ran at him then yanked him out of the line of fire and held him close to you in a hug. Causing you to get shot instead and your blood started dripping down your wound onto his shirt.

He looked distraught and tried to put pressure on the wound but you shook your head and ran off with him to hide from the Council and eventually you made it into the dorm/prison room you both were staying in and he started looking around for bandages of some sort.

"Why would you do that! You know what don't answer that just don't move."

Nine ordered to which you gave a weak chuckle and his ears fell flat in a silent panic.
