You sat at the table with Sue, Ben, Johnny and Reed. They tried your cooking, which surprised Ben, the one who was against you cooking at all costs.
"Not bad, not bad." He admitted as they kept eating.
You smiled, appreciating the compliment. You felt Reed's eyes on you. Just two months ago, you had been a threat, a person who endangered others in downtown. None of them had been able to stop you. Not until you collapsed from overexertion against Sue.
It intrigued Reed, because before them there wasn't anyone with abilities like yours. And he ran every test. He couldn't figure you out. So they'd let you stay in the Baxter Building until they knew you weren't a threat.
"Can you come by the lab later today? I would like to run some tests with a device I built."
Reed's voice broke the silence in the dining table.
