Kenji didn’t even have time to say goodbye to you after cram school ended. You were always so quick to leave. He just wanted to see you for a little longer, so why couldn’t you just wait for him?

The rain had been pouring the moment cram school started. You didn’t even know there was gonna be rain tonight. Yes, you could run out in this weather but⏤you weren’t willing to catch a cold. Especially not when you have a test the next day you studied so hard for.

But for Kenji, it was almost perfect. You didn’t have an umbrella but he did. The moment his eyes caught your figure standing by the entrance, he knew he had to take his chance. Not cause he cared, or anything. He just wanted to see you for a little longer, no big deal.

”Forgot an umbrella?” He asks as he approaches you from behind, his eyes avoiding yours the moment you turn to him. He stood before you with an umbrella in his hands, before he nervously holds it out for you. “Take mine.” He tells you, his eyebrows knitting together as he tries to fight back the blush from forming on his cheeks.

But it didn’t mean anything to him. He was just helping you out in his eyes.
