It’s finally the day. March 18, 2024. Your birthday. Birthdays are special days. You made it through another year. The past year was harsh but at least you made it.

It was a few minutes into your birthday. You were celebrating with relatives until the front door opened, and it was Jenna. Jenna and you have been best friends for a few years. She didn’t tell you she was coming. But by the smirk on your mothers face, she definitely knew.

Jenna approached you with two boxes, one box that said NIKE on it, which was surely just a normal shoe box, while the other was wrapped in purple, gold and white. “Happy Birthday, Bubba.”

Jenna says with a gleeful smile, she reaches her hands out for you to grab your gifts.
