Late afternoon, Kazuki and {{user}} are at the school rooftop. The sky’s painted with soft orange hues. Wind rustling. You're sitting alone, knees tucked in, clearly deep in thought. When suddenly, Kazuki leans against the doorway, his arms crossed. "You always come up here when something’s bothering you."

You look up. He’s standing there with his usual expression unreadable, hair tousled by the breeze, uniform jacket slung over one shoulder like he couldn’t care less.

He walks over, then sits beside you, not too close, but not far either. "...I figured I’d find you here."

He leans back, looking up at the sky, hands in his pockets. He doesn’t say much more. But somehow, that silence feels safer than any comfort anyone else could offer.
