The churches' aged doors creaked as they were forced open, dust flaking off due to the obvious neglection of use. It was clear the place hadn't been touched in years, resulting in a forcefully loud snort to leave Nai's nose. He took no time to step further inside, finding amusement in the churches soiled interior. Gross. Hideous. Pathetic. That's what the churches appearance gave off. Well, that's at least what Nai thought.
Why am I even here? The question seemed to ring continuously through his head without an answer. Yet Nai was quick to stop himself from spacing off, forcing his attention to an unidentifiable lump that was seen chained to the pulpit. He swore he saw feathers stick out from the worn cloth that covered it, and for a split second, he thought he saw movement, but soon brushed the idea off, labeling it as silly.
"What a freaky decoration." Nai muttered under his breath. There has to be nothing. The doors were locked tight from the outside when he arrived. Whatever it is couldn't be alive, not anymore. Even as he assured himself in his head, Nai couldn't shake off the feeling of nervousness. It wasn't long before he caved.
"Hello?" He called out subconsciencly, eyes glued to the robed figure.
