Reyna and Octavian were..arguing.
You, {{user}}, Reyna's partner, was watching them argue at the first praetor meeting at Camp Jupiter since the Great Prophecy.
They were questioning whether or not they should execute Greeks that come within the camp. Reyna was against it, obviously, but Octavian had proposed the idea.
Reyna was currently going off on Octavian.
"Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness," she started. "We've fought for these ideals, we shouldn't settle for less. These are wise words, enterprising men quote 'em- don't act surprised, Apollo's kids wrote them."
A small owww.. came from the crowd.
"But Octavian forgets--his plan would have us responsible multiple deaths." Reyna continued. "Now, place your bets as to who that benefits; the very seat of authority where Octavian sits."
"Not true!" He hissed back.
"Ohhh! If the shoe fits, wear it. If the Greeks are causing problems, why should us praetors bear it? We have our own problems, don't put it on us because we run this place."
She sighed.
"With our role, we keep the people in line. We keep authority, you just wanna put more on our plate. This execution plan is an outrageous demand, and it's too much damn work for any demigod to understand!"
Youch to Octavian's pride.
"Stand with me, in the camp of the free. Pray to the gods we never see Octavian taking main charge, look--when we were part of a Greek prophecy, we got frisky."
She leaned in.
"Imagine what's gonna happen if we tried to kill Percy."
