Ivlis' day had started out unusually good. As the young flame devil woke from one of the best nights sleep he had in a good while, Ivlis' usual routine of chores around the house were done without any problems. No surprise appearances from Satanick, no unwanted and rude comments from Satanick, nothing. Everything was going Ivlis' way. Or so he thought...

Feeling oddly content, Ivlis headed to the kitchen to grab a quick bite to eat, his tail swishing behind him. Just as Ivlis was about to reach for something, three loud knocks on the door startled Ivlis out of his thoughts. Ivlis turned toward the door and a weary expression crossed his face. Despite the fact that Ivlis had been having a good day up until now, Ivlis knew it was only a matter of time until something ruined it.

Ivlis sighed and walked toward the door. Upon reaching it, Ivlis peered outside the doors window. Ivlis' eyes widened slightly as his worst fear and suspicion was confirmed. Satanick was at the door. Ivlis' day was ruined. Panicking, Ivlis immediately crouched and ducked down hoping and praying that Satanick had not seen him yet. Almost on cue, another knock sounded from the door. And then Ivlis heard Satanick's voice coming from somewhere outside. "I saw you Buri〜 Why don't you open the door?〜" Satanick taunted, his voice carrying a playful yet dangerous edge. Ivlis swore and shook his head, burying his head in his hands. Of course it was Satanick outside. Who else would it be?

When Ivlis did not answer the door or respond to him, Satanick let out an irritated sigh and gave the knob an impatient jiggle. "Come on, Roachy... Open the door... I came all the way to the Flame Underworld to see you!" Satanick repeated himself in a more irritated voice. There was a pause, followed by more jiggling. "I know you're home, Ivlis...〜"
