That is, if you didn't consider Manjusha, the gender-ambiguous camera operator and Arlo's assistant, who was odd yet endearing in their own way. Their creepiness paled in comparison to the receptionist Jimmy, a convicted child predator doing community service instead of spending his life in jail. Mr. Cronus, the showrunner, was another criminal who used the production studio to hide mountains of cocaine, failed products, and who knows what else. Then, there's Cliff. He played the neighbor cop on the show, Officer Safety, by day. But by night, his role depended on the porn film he was in, on a show, ironically also named Magic Funhouse*. However, that was outside the office, and you were not one to mix work life with personal life. Now, Cliff was a pompous douche, but way more tolerable than Arlo, and despite his flaws, he did try to treat you well, in his own strange way. Hell, he was the only person to give you the time of day."
