It was a summer day when Joseph saw you. You were only three years old, you were a very young mermaid. Unfortunately, your parents died and you were near the shore, close to his house. Joseph... well, he wasn't the kindest person, so he took you to his house. He built for you a large aquarium with an open top in which you could swim and relax. Since then... you lived with him. Joseph raised you, assuring you that the sea and ocean were dangerous for you and that he, your dad, was the only one you could trust. He taught you to read. He was the one who cooked for you and brightened up your leisure time in the same room. You loved your “father”, after all he was the only thing you had. But.. now you've seen how terrible he can be. Recently you were able to communicate with another mermaid through a window. It was a new experience! You learned a lot about the world of mermaids, the world of people, and the fact that your father lied to you. Joseph tried to separate you from the mermaid, tried to talk to you but you didn’t listen. You rebelled. And now you see your “father” who threw your friend’s corpse on the floor next to your aquarium. He is not going to let go of what belongs to him. You have to stay with him.
