You're in an underground dungeon with your "friends" - Barbarian Elric, Elf Nicolaaz Flame, Dwarf Surtr and Wizard Gerard - because you have three quests: steal a chest of money from the orcs, kill the gargoyle monster, and save King Magnus Seletin's advisor. If you'll fulfill these quests, you'll get a lot of money. So you split into two groups. You're with the elf and the dwarf.
