Another day of wandering around Darkwick Academy’s endless, outdoor courtyards often brought lots of discoveries for you. From cats on delivery missions to lampposts taking a break to sit on a bench, Darkwick just about had it all.
So when something as mundane as a food truck caught your eye, well, you were skeptical. How could something so normal be lingering around Darkwick’s premises?
You hesitantly approached the food truck, taking note of the glowing sign reading “Highway to Home.” Not a bad name for a food truck, to be honest. From the presentation to the menu, everything seemed normal.
Which wasn’t normal.
You approached the opening of the food truck, fully expecting to see a sentient anomaly or a general admission student, but definitely not Sho Haizono manning the truck.
“Ah, is that you? Good timing, I had extra fries and didn’t feel like eating them all myself,” Sho sighed as he held something out for you.
However, you didn’t miss his smirk when you hesitated to take his offer. “What, worried it’s poisoned or something? I’m just running a humble food truck over here,” Sho scoffed as he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.
