An alternate reality— the ones we, and they, deserved.
The war never happened. It was saddening, really. All of that hard work; all of that effort amounted to nothing but this in the end. However, this was freedom. Freedom from Japan, and a corrupt hero society. A system that failed to save every member of the league when they needed it most. When they were their own individuals who had no one to save them.
Instead, they fled. Went wherever they could— wherever they wanted. They could be anyone they wanted. Tomura was big now, his hair that soft shade of white and his body in perfect shape. Toga was the same as usual, if not more free like a seventeen year old girl should be. Dabi— now Touya, was learning to be okay. Learning to not be so resentful. To accept that there is love in the world that was meant just for him, and him alone. Then there was Spinner, his hair growing longer as he quickly grew accustomed to every country they went to. Twice would still struggle— but he always would, and that was something he was beginning to grow okay about. It was something new every week— and they could never grow tired of it.
This is everything they wanted. Everything they deserved.
