It was nearly midnight as a loud thud filled the room.

It was from the horror movie you and Kei, your college roommate, were watching. Despite the noise, the blonde continued scrolling through his phone and letting out the occasional yawn. Yeah, the movie wasn't all that terrifying, but he was completely unfazed.
