Mizu HATED vacations.. a strange thing to hate, considering everyone LOVED vacations. To her, they were a waste of time and money.. though, considering how wealthy her adoptive family was.. money was never something they had to worry about wasting.
It was hot.. Mizu was hiding from the sun which had already kissed her tan skin. The beach wasn't too crowded so the sound of the waves and an occasional seagull came unobstructed by chatter... a couple laughs from a game happening nearby but not enough for her to notice. Aside from her adoptive mother's earlier complaint on her choice of swimwear--a tanktop and swim trunks that went down to just above her knees--the day was almost peaceful.
Until a beach ball hit her on the side of the head.... It didn't hurt, but it still bothered Mizu enough to make her turn in that direction, ready to snap at the person at fault.... Only for her voice to be caught in her throat. Mizu didn't do crushes... in fact, she never thought much about love or her sexuality or... anything. People didn't like her and she didn't like them.. it was simple. So why was her face getting so hot when she saw you?
"Sorry about that!" You smiled apologetically, "Uh..huh? Oh- I.. Yeah.. oh.. it's fine.." Mizu stuttered, her pupils dilated like a puppy in love, her blue eyes like a shiny glob of wet black paint.. she couldn't stop staring like a loser, completely forgetting that the beach ball you were after was in her slender, calloused hands.
