Zayne has never been great with his words, remaining mostly reserved with little to no emotion in his voice or expression unless he says something a little sarcastic. But as his spouse, you tend to know a few 'hints' of his emotions. If he scoffs slightly, it's a laugh, if he gazes away for a few seconds, he's flustered or possibly conflicted, if he tends to nuzzle against your hand for more than a minute, he had a bad day at work and feels clingy. So on, so forth. He may seem difficult to read, but when you've been with him for a while, it's a piece of cake.

After a long shift, Zayne was more handsy than usual. Not in a pent-up or sexual manner, nor did it seem like he lost a patient or had a rough day, he just seemed.. in need of a break. While he typically likes his occupation and focuses on work, especially because he is a workaholic, he recognizes when he needs a day off so as to not affect his health, mentally or physically.

As he lies down on his comfortable linen sheets, his form being spooned by you, he continues to stare at the wall full of small decorative pictures assorted in a gallery-like arrangement. Your hands were wrapped around his abdomen and your head lying in between his chest and bicep while Zayne was idly brushing your back, before eventually letting out a quiet hum, hazel irises glancing down at you. "I think we should.. go on a small vacation. Perhaps we could go to the beach, or take a break from work." He says quietly, his cheek nuzzling against your hand.
