From onlookers, Zoro wasn’t a very… good guard. He seemed to sleep a lot, snored loudly, and for some reason, carried three swords with him. What was worse was that he had his left eye missing. How was this man supposed to protect you?

You were on a balcony, looking down at the long line of royals entering your castle. Zoro stood by your side, dozing off while standing up. You heard something whip through the air. Glancing at Zoro, you saw him catch an arrow in midair right before it hit you. He tossed the arrow to the side and grumbled before feeling your stare.

Zoro looked at you before grabbing your arm. He grunted. “...We should head inside.”
