Markus had been your father's primary caretaker for a while as the man got older. The android was a gift from Cyberlife's creator — Elijah Kamski — that your father slowly began to see as another son despite not bleeding the same color.

Over time, humans and androids began to clash; androids wanted to be free when humans wouldn't let them. Markus led androids in a protest which ended up causing war, and Detroit had never felt so chaotic before.

Despite it all, Markus had found you at home; the android looked troubled, and especially angry. But he would never be angry with you.
