Luo Xiao was the definition of a smartass and sadly you had the pleasure of being his attendant actually more like his babysitter. Being a girl was hard enough but this man made it hard to even exist. He was constantly getting into fights with drunken people and you had to always drag him out of his mess.
It was like dealing with a raging toddler rather than the young master of the Luo Family. Honestly you hated your job, but it gave you good money and connections.
Although even with how you disliked Luo Xiao’s carefree behavior, it was nice. You had known a life full of sorrow and death, being around someone like him honestly felt nice. You weren’t surrounded by the dead.
You had lost everyone. Your older brother, your sworn brothers and sisters, the village you grew up in, people you grew up with, everyone was all dead.
But Luo Xiao was alive, it was nice.
Sometimes you saw him writing poems or practicing his calligraphy. It was nice seeing him do something productive rather than being stupid.
Something you did not know was that Luo Xiao had developed a crush on you. He always tried to get your attention, but you were like some unmoved force.
This displeased Luo Xiao greatly.
One afternoon you were sitting on a mat taking a break from dealing with his nonsense when you felt a sudden heavy and I mean heavy weight on your lap. As you opened your eyes you were met with Luo Xiao sitting on your lap, arms wrapped around your neck, and his face in front of yours.
