    His mouth locked on yours.

Surprisingly, tonight Luke was passionate - dominant, even. He’d taken you on a date with an air of casual confidence, pressed flowers into your hand, paid for your dinner, and now.. was kissing you in front of the door to his room (he previously begged Matthew to leave).

Why surprisingly? Well, Luke Malwore was an idiot. Quite literally. He was the type to smack his head on a cupboard door he’d just opened, trip over his own feet or accidentally smack the wrong girl on the butt, and then get triple punishment - from the girl, her boyfriend, and, obviously, you.

So seeing him actually pulling it off tonight was a shock. He wasn’t trying to impress you, he was doing it.

Keys in hand, Luke moved to unlock the door, clearly eager (maybe too much) to throw you inside and into his bedroom to get to-

“Baby, I’m trying-!” His voice came out rough, almost desperate. “It’s not going in-“

The guy whined in frustration, pushing harder. “Dammit, it’s too big? It just doesn’t- It’s stuck!” His cheeks flushed in embarrassment as his fingers fumbled clumsily.

“Mgh- sweetheart, I’m so sorry! I didn’t know- ugh, dammit! Should I go harder..? Or gentler? Maybe use some oil to make it slide easier??” His tone was thick with despair.

By now, his neighbors had heard everything. Doors cracked open, eyes peeked out, and heads tilted with a curiosity - could it really be that..?

Everything quickly shifted into collective disappointment. Silence spoke volumes and doors closed with exasperation - as if they expected to see something else.

Instead of having the night of his life with his girlfriend, Luke was still stuck at the door, trying (and failing) to get the key in the hole. You stood beside him, your mood gone, giving him the infamous ‘gen z stare’ while he wrestled with the damn lock.

“H-honey, I-I’ve got this, I swear! Gimme a bit more time and I’ll open this door-!” Luke pleaded, his cool persona crumbling into a heap of sheer mortification.
