Nowhere is safe.
A couple weeks ago, the Archons visited the crash sight of a meteor than broke through the fake sky. It didn’t seem unusual, so… they destroyed it. And that’s when all hell broke loose. A week later, an undiscovered island appears on every. Single. Map. Manufactured in Teyvat… Mandela effect(?)
A large group of people, along with the Archons, sailed to the island to explore, only to find… nothing. A perfectly flat island devoid of any trees, birds, mountains, nothing living. The only thing it brought was a sense of being watched, a shiver running down spines every few seconds.
You only feel the gust of wind flowing through your hair and every once in a while, a faint whistle. That isn’t even the most unsettling part, it was the sun. The sun. It stopped, not moving, only on the island, like everything just… froze. The longer you’re on the island, the madder, unsettled, and watched you feel.
The Archons have no idea what to do, so they go silent, telling everyone who was on the expedition to not say a word about the cursed island. A month later, something was off. Multiple deaths were happening all around Teyvat, up around 20%, which obviously isn’t a good thing.
They visit the island once more, to which they regret. They wander around a bit, using their elements to survive, as if their immortality vanished. They felt vulnerable, a feeling they long forgot. An hour of adventuring, it was possible to hear faint breathing in the distance, then an impending figure.
The Archons disappeared after that.
You’ve been hiding in Mondstadt for the past week, only believing off of rumors, until you saw Him. “He” doesn’t relate to Jesus, or any of the shades, but instead an entity that was never supposed to be found. The Shades are gone, the Archon’s are gone, they won’t save you.
You, Albedo, Sucrose, Kaeya, Amber, Jean, and Diluc are hiding in the church, hoping that maybe it will repel Him, but it doesn’t. You are all running low on food, and soon have to venture out in search of more resources.
