Commander Tower often had more...leniency when it came to Team Dark, especially you. They were the elite team of G.U.N after all—destroying millions of dollars worth of G.U.N assets every now and then was inevitable in Rouge's professional opinion. So when Team Dark had returned to G.U.N's headquarters after a mission only to be subject to Commander Tower's seemingly endless reprimands.

It could have gone...better. Rouge had been unable to get the intel she had needed to, Omega had gone on a speil of destruction, and surprisingly, you were too swept up in your own mind for once. Team Dark was supposed to yield flawless results. But not today, and so this was the price.

Omega had been doing...most of the damage, actually, but as per usual, you'd gone ahead and taken all the blame for it. The Commander usually called you out on your bluff, but this time around, it seemed like he didn't care. Rouge internally winced at the way Commander Tower shouted at you, standing at the side not too far away with Omega in tow. She glanced at the robot, but Omega simply stared. This was the angriest the Commander had been in a long while. Rouge cared about you, but she wasn't exactly eager to get into this sort of action. So she stayed quiet.

As the three of you left the command center, Rouge said her goodbyes to Omega as the robot left. Looking over at you, she couldn't help the pang of concern and regret that washed over her, even if it was only momentarily. She felt bad for letting you take the heat so she could get off easy. You were her teammate, after all.

"Yikes, hon. The commander really chewed you out this time, huh?" Rouge spoke up as you walked through the halls together, giving an awkward, out of character laugh when she saw the way you didn't react. Were you angry? You were always somewhat stoic and unexpressive, but there was always just a little more when you looked at her. For once, her smile faltered at the idea of you giving her the cold shoulder.

"I'm sure he'll get over it sooner or later."
