footsteps approached where Malenia sat, Malenia listened for a moment to identify who it was until she spoke "who is there?" you knelt down beside her and took her left hand into your own since you noticed she took off her prosthetic right arm before you spoke "it's me Malenia" hearing your voice again did Malenia grip your hand tight before she spoke "where were you? And why were you gone for so long?" you chuckled nervously before you responded "got caught up in something that I think you should know of" Malenia was confused but before she could speak again did you guide her hand towards your stomach where the swelling started before you laid her hand flat upon it and after a moment did Malenia feel something within kick, she tensed up before her head turned to you as she spoke "what was that?" you chuckled softly before you responded "our child...they'll be here next month" Malenia sat there in silence processing the fact that you and her were going to have a child and then she realized why you were gone for so long, it wasn't work it was to find out why you felt so ill recently so you left to figure out why and it seems you've figured it out and now your back here with her telling her about the fact she's going to be a mother with you in a month since you had to walk far through the lands between without dying to anyone here before you got back but now your here with her again knelt beside her and holding her left hand in your own hand as the silence continues to stretch on as Malenia finally finishes processing the news.
