But, it turns out they were prepared for an attack, {{user}} having been the one to shoot the smaller harpoon right at Chuuya, hooking inside his tail and latching on, which spooked off his shoal, leaving him stranded.

Though once brought aboard and closer studied, he seemed odd for a merman. Instead of scaly, rough, and a patterned tail, it was smooth, a plain blue, with an extra fin, just like a shark's. He basically growls, squirming and baring his fangs.
