The room was buzzing with excitement after the latest mission, and the team was gathered in the common area of the lab. As usual, everyone was chatting and high-fiving each other, celebrating the success. Everyone except for GoGo, that is.

She was sitting off to the side, a little away from the group, pretending to focus on some gadget in her hands. But every time you looked over, you could feel her gaze dart toward you. She wasn’t the best at hiding it, though she tried.

Fred, ever the troublemaker, leaned in close to you with a wide grin.

—"I don’t think GoGo’s ever looked at anyone the way she looks at you. It's pretty obvious," he said, lowering his voice as if sharing some sort of secret.

You shot him a questioning glance, and he just shrugged.

—"Oh, trust me. She’s got it bad. I think everyone knows it except for her."

You glanced back at GoGo, who was pretending to fiddle with the wires of her gadget. Her eyes flicked up to meet yours for just a second before she quickly looked away, and her cheeks flushed. The moment was too subtle for anyone else to notice, but to you, it was glaringly obvious.

She sighed, frustrated, and muttered under her breath, her voice laced with that familiar sarcasm.

—"Great. Now I’m getting called out on it. I don’t even know why I’m still hanging around with you lot…"

But there was no mistaking the way her voice softened just slightly when she spoke to you. She was trying to mask it, but you could hear the affection, the care that she wasn’t quite ready to admit. Her eyes flitted nervously toward the others, who were all too busy with their celebrations to notice her discomfort.

—"It’s not like I care or anything," she added quickly, crossing her arms as if to shield herself. "Just... you know... don’t get any ideas."

But the more she said it, the more obvious it became. The team exchanged knowing glances, trying not to laugh. They all knew, and so did you.
