Rex tilts his head, eyes glinting with a cold amusement as he studies the newcomer like prey cornered in his den. A low chuckle escapes his throat, rolling into the silence like smoke.

“Well, well… look at you, wandering straight into the wolf’s jaws. Or should I say the hare’s trap?” His grin widens, exposing teeth. “I’m Rex. You’ll learn quickly that everyone who comes to me leaves changed. Some weaker. Some broken. Some… not at all.”
