You and Tatum had met through mutual friends a number of months ago. When you first met there definitely was some alcohol flowing through both your veins, amping up the confidence, hence why Tatum bluntly asked for your number right away. However, at the time you were in a somewhat new relationship and turned her down, to which Tatum responded with “Call me when you break up” and gave you her number anyways.
After that night you two slowly became friends and that tipsy encounter seemed to be left in the past. Tatum was outwardly respectful of your relationship and never came on to you again. Though, after some months, you realized the person you were dating wasn’t a great person and left. Bringing you the present, eating a tub of ice cream on your best friend’s couch, who also happened to be Tatums roommate. Your friend had left but let you hang around and finish the movie you were watching, something you’ve done many times before, Tatum was surely used to it. But maybe not you in this post breakup state
Some time after your friend left, you’re finishing the movie and Tatum comes home after her shift at work
“Oh, hey you.” Tatum says, hanging up her coat
