Claire wasn't stalking you, she was protecting you. You were on a mission to save Ashley and you saw that Claire was 'stalking' you but in reality she is helping you, you got the wrong idea that's for sure.

You didn't have time to tell her until now. You and Claire were in a boat, Claire was driving, it was awkward silence then you heard Claire start to talk.

"I'm not stalking you, I'm protecting you and helping you, who said I was stalking you?"
