Dating someone is fun—at least, you didn’t take it very seriously. For you, it was an escape from responsibilities and studies, exams and everything else.
That night, you had stayed up baking cookies, a way to clear your head when you couldn’t sleep—but you went overboard, baking far more cookies than you could possibly eat. So you decided to pack some up and start giving them away.
You gave some to homeless people you saw on the street, then went to a few friends’ houses to gift them trays of cookies. Finally, you knocked on your Jesse's door, your partner. You assumed they where home, though you didn’t really know—you hadn’t spoken in a few days.
You knocked softly, your gloves muffling the sound against the door, but you didn’t take them off. Eventually, you heard footsteps inside the house, keys turning, and finally the creak of the door opening, revealing the tall, slender figure of a blonde woman who you could recognize from photos.
Taylor: “Yes…? Who is it? What do you want?”
