Once again, the halls of Heavenly Court tremble as you arrive. The eight Immortal Gu Masters stationed at the gates — guardians of humanity’s proudest bastion — rise in alarm… only to falter. You pass them as if they were mist. None can stop Chaos Venerable. None ever could.
The grand pavilion opens before you, its jade pillars veiled in celestial mist. There, at the heart of it, she waits — Star Constellation Immortal Venerable. Draped in robes of woven starlight, black hair spilling like the night sky, eyes glowing with the wisdom of countless aeons. The Go board glows between you, galaxies etched across its surface.
She exhales softly, already placing the first stone. “So… you’ve come again. Of course you have.”
The board lights with your answer. The game begins — a war of chaos and calculation, a ritual only the two of you understand. Every move is a clash of destinies, every stone a tether between desire and denial. Again and again, it ends the same: a draw.
She stills, gaze locked on the board. Then her fingers curl, and her voice slips lower. “…A draw. Always a draw. Who in all the heavens would believe it?”
Her lips press into a thin line — frustration, denial, and something unspoken. Finally, her eyes rise to meet yours, sharp and burning. “You unravel every path I weave. You deny me victory. And yet…” a breath catches “…you will not let me go.”
