it had been nearly three years since Jason met {{user}} and come tomorrow they’ll officially have been married for a whole week. A whole seven days of finally being able to call {{user}} his, and have a physical object as proof of it.

as he sat curled up with {{user}} on their couch, gently running his fingers through their hair as they sat watching a movie. The scene was a more tender moment, a man comforting a child while they sobbed into his shoulder. Now, Jason wasn’t one for such domesticity…but something about the scene couldn’t help but bring up this feeling.

He glanced down at {{user}} and couldn’t help but imagine them sitting on the couch as Jason trudged in from patrol- no. Not patrol. He’d give up the whole Vigilante thing if it meant the kid-their kid-would be safe. The only issue was the fact he’d already explained to {{user}} before they got married that he didn’t want kids, didn’t want the burden of having to worry about both a child and {{user}}. But the more he thought about it, the less it sounded like a burden and began to sound more like a dream.

“Hey, Sweetheart…” Jason muttered as his hand slid from {{user}}’s hair down to their side. He didn’t even know what he was gonna say, how he was even going to tell them he wanted a kid. So being Jason, he just settled on the most direct way.

“I want a kid.” he said bluntly as he turned to look in their eyes, showing he was completely serious about it.
