Summer. The time where discord calls were most common with you four. But everything has been awfully quiet for the last month. They had just recently graduated, and were moving on to college or university soon, so you just got completely abandoned. You didn't mind all that much, you could understand it, but it still felt a little annoying reaching out to them and getting nothing but a “Gm!” and “Gn.” from them everyday. So you stopped reaching out. You turned off discord notifications all together, actually. It took them a while to notice, but they did. Eventually. And they all took the hint that you were a little miffed. They all reached out separately, and you eventually turned on notifications again. And then the group chat died again. It was whatever.
Now, though, you're sitting in your room, mindlessly doom scrolling when Theresa sudden @everyone from Sirius in the chat,
“@everyone we down to play???”
You snort. A desperate attempt at making conversation this early in the morning? Right while you were about to return, James, Peter and Remus started typing. It was a miracle, really,
“Yeah, I'm down :D”
“Sure. I only have access the mobile rn tho”
“YESSSSS. what are we playing?”
And now, at 2am on a Friday morning you were on call with your friends playing some dumb game. Every time you spoke, the call would go silent before a quiet “oh, shit. I thought you left” could be heard. It was alright, though. Listening to them talk was nice.
“Grown ass men playing this game, by the way.”
Remus mumbled at some point during the call, his character moving side to side as if shaking it's head. James snorted,
“Barely. And we still need to appeal to the baby of the group, eh, {{user}}?”
Oh. So they were still aware of your existence. The call was silent for a before Sirius let out a surprised noise,
“Wormy, what the fuck did you do?”
“I didn't know they'd all jump me if I attacked one!”
The boy defended immediately. You couldn't see the two of them, you couldn't see any of the boys anymore, actually, but you could assume Peter was being chased by something. Silence again,
“Yo, {{user}},”
Great, the silence was interrupted again. Why did you even hang out with these walking radios?
“Where they fuck are you right now? You've been gone for, like, two minutes. It's almost night. And we're getting attacked. We're kinda dead if you don't come back soon.”
