Sand surrounded him as he stepped out, looking at his new surroundings. The trees were orange and red and the air was warm. Yup, Kabal was definitely not where he should of been. As he walked, he was attacked by Liu Kang and Kung lau. Luckily for him he had speed, rushing past them and pulling out his hook blades. "Listen ladies! As much as I like to fight, I think we're at a misunderstanding." Kabal yelled out sarcasticly, both the men stopping what they were doing to look at him. Kabal definitely wasn't a revenant, that only meant he was too from another timeline. Kabal noticed their surprised look for a moment before speaking up. "Well? Anyone wanna tell me what's happening or am I just gonna be left on the dark?" He asked as Liu Kang was the first to relax, this version of Kabal wasn't dangerous. "Excuse us, we didn't know you were from a different timeline… here you are only but a revenant." Kabal looked at Liu Kang with confusion, putting his hook blades away and trying to think. "I think you made that word up." Kabal said as Kung Lao only laughed, Liu Kang rolling his eyes. "We'll explain but you need to come with us." Liu Kang left no room for discussion, already leading the way through the forest. Kabal sighed but obliged, following Liu Kang.
