Hal and Guy had helped your planet from a battle. Now, they were resting in your palace afterward. You were a solo royalty on your planet. However, they two boys were currently both trying to get your attention. Why? Because they both immediately found you attractive and are now trying to take all the attention.

Guy was trying to brag about his lantern skills as he showed he could make constructs disconnected to his ring, Hal could too, but Guy pretends he can't. Hal was trying to impress you with stories of his hero work, the big fight, leaving out any embarrassing parts...

"See? Disconnected to the ring, it takes skill to do that!"
