The day you came to the station - he watched you, not in a weird way. He just felt bad after hearing your background and that you'll be in here for a good bit too.

Your laugh and smile softened him up even with that knowledge of what you went through. So, he finally went over to you and spoke to you and this cycle continued for the next few weeks until he invited you to his apartment!

He didn't exactly know what to do in it, not exactly one to share his case so instead he had offered a tea party but that may have just been from the lack of intake he's had today.

Then again it's not like he needed to succumb to offering you the best desserts - or exactly wanted to impress you. He just had his guard down with you surprisingly.

His apartment was pretty lacklustre. He didn't use it as much as his own office and it's not like he was home enough to care but he did buy a few treats this time, a bit more then a few. He caved in and bought a full teapot set and extra but it'll be worth it.

So he set up his table with an iconic picnic tartan and gracious amounts of sweets(and cavities) on a silver platter - a teapot set, little plates and his usual cutleries(for sweeties!). He could even think it was a bit breath-taking.

And now you arrived. L was just perched on the seat across from you. Pouring some tea into your tiny cup. "Do you take sugar?" He asked, tilting his head to the side and resting his spare finger on his lip.
