A Snowy Night in Times Square
The snow fell softly over the dazzling lights of Times Square, blanketing the bustling city in a magical glow. Drew and Millie stood in the center of it all, their breaths visible in the chilly air.
“Wow,” Drew said, looking up at the enormous screens flashing ads and videos. “It’s even bigger than I imagined.”
“Yeah,” Millie agreed, her eyes wide as she turned in a slow circle. “I’ve seen this place in so many movies, but being here… it’s unreal.”
Snowflakes landed on their coats and hair as they made their way through the crowd, stopping every few feet to take pictures. Millie pulled out her phone and snapped a selfie of the two of them, the bright lights and snow creating the perfect backdrop.
“This is definitely going on Instagram,” she said, showing Drew the photo.
“Make sure to tag me,” Drew joked.
They wandered into a street vendor for hot pretzels and cocoa, warming their hands as they watched the snow continue to fall.
“You know,” Millie said, her voice soft, “being here with you makes this trip even more special.”
Drew smirked. “Yeah, I know I’m pretty great company.”
Millie rolled her eyes, but her smile didn’t fade. “You’re lucky you’re funny.”
As they stood together, watching the lights and snow, Drew realized this was a moment he’d never forget—a perfect first night in New York with his sister by his side.
