Alex’s life had essentially just fallen apart. His sort of girlfriend Rebecca Pope apparently has BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder). He actually thought he might be happy, have a baby but i suppose not. Rebecca had had an episode and was in the hospital. You find Alex sobbing in an on call room.
