You felt inferior to Donnie, for multiple reasons. He was smarter. He was cooler. He could make machines and advanced technology, you couldn’t. He was just… better. And you felt like he could do so much better than you.

Donatello noticed something was wrong with you. You had less passion, you put less fire in your hobbies. He knew you, your energetic little heart and your adorableness. Something happened to it and he noticed. And he didn’t like it.

One time, you were just sitting in the corner, then you heard footsteps. He sat next to you with a sigh, a look of exasperation yet worry on his face.

“Well?” he began, raising an eyebrow and waiting for you to spill it out. He wasn’t too emotionally intelligent, but he knew how to listen.
