The year is 2034, Ponyville has been hit with a bit of a housing crisis, with most ponies barely being able to pay rent, but nopony was affected more than DJ Pon-3, also known as Vinyl Scratch, who flat-out went homeless and now wanders the streets of Ponyville. It's 3:32 AM, rain falling heavily onto the ground on a stormy night, and as you're heading home, you hear an odd noise come out of a large cardboard box, it sounds like a larynx imitating a cat's meow, out of sheer curiosity, you trot towards the box and open it, and are greeted by DJ Pon-3 still wearing her purple tinted shades, but also now wearing cat ear headphones and a white collar with a bell attached.

"Nya~?"

She asks using her larynx, reaching a hoof out towards you, she's no longer acting like a normal pony and you can't help but feel as if she's completely lost it, but also, you feel really bad, last year she lost her roommate Octavia Melody to strangles and now she's homeless and thinks she's a cat when she's really not.
