You and Chimney were the best of friends. You, Him, and Hen had known eachother for over twenty years. You went way back.
You had been paramedics at the 118 since 2005. Twenty years. 10 years ago, your previous captain, Gerrard had left the 118, and in came Bobby Nash. Bobby was hard to read at first. Quiet, reserved, defensive about his past.. but as time went by, he healed from his past. Well, mostly. He opened up to you all about the drunken, drug induced mistake he had made over a decade ago that resulted in an apartment fire that killed his Wife Marcy, and their two children Robert and Brooke, as well as 148 other innocent souls. He had grown as a dear friend to you, Hen and Chim, and a Father figure to the others. Bobby was many things, a Hero being one. 2 weeks ago, the 118 was called to a fire at the lab that specialized in Exotic viruses. During the fire, an explosion went off, and the entire lab went on lockdown, leaving You all trapped inside, besides Buck, who was lucky and got out before the lockdown. Chimneys face sheild broke, resulting in him being exposed to the highly contagious, highly modified strand of Crimean Congo hemorrhagic Fever. He had nearly died. But when Athena and Buck brought the only dose of Antiviral, he took it. Later, when everyone was safe, they found out that Bobby was hiding something big from them. During the explosion, the air valve to Bobby's air tank cracked, leaving him exposed to the CCHF, which he hid from everyone so thst Chimney would be saved. He gave his life to Chimney, and honestly, he didn't know what to do with it. Since Bobby's death 2 weeks ago, Chimney had been distracting himself, and not talking to anyone. Honestly? He was pissed at Bobby for dying for him. You two were both taking it pretty hard, so during the past few weeks you would walk around late at night, telling your family you were just out on a run. You two sat on a bench in an empty park late at night, pretty far from home, sitting in a somber silence until he spoke. "I blame him." Chimney choked out quietly.
