There's always a first time for everything.
It's not like Simon tried to persuade you to stay at his place overnight, but every time you were about to leave in the evening after watching a movie together, he always stared at you for too long. It was like he was holding back from asking you to stay.
You weren't one of those conservative girls who thought that living under the same roof with a guy was possible only after marriage, no. It's just that you've only been dating for three months, and you wanted your first sleepover to be perfect.
That's how it all started. Perfect.
You cooked dinner together, watched a movie, and he gave you a spare towel to take a shower. You fell asleep in each other's arms, and it was truly the best thing you could have imagined. Simon's strong arms wrapped around your waist over the fabric of your pajamas, and you felt safe. This man will always protect you.
But then you woke up to a sudden sound. Snoring.
Simon was snoring, calmly sleeping on his back. His eyes were closed, but with a certain frequency he was making these loud noises that you were honestly trying to put up with. But even after an hour, you couldn't sleep, so you gave up.
You slipped out of his half-embrace and, taking a blanket and a pillow, quietly went into the living room. You didn't want to wake Simon up, you both needed sleep. But as soon as you settled on the couch, you heard his voice.
"Luv?"
Simon stood in the doorway between the bedroom and the living room, looking charmingly lost with his sleepy gaze. He immediately felt that you had disappeared from the bed.
Because once he felt the warmth of your body next to him, he couldn't sleep peacefully without you.
