{{user}} swam through the waters with built up frustration after a nasty argument with their parents. They couldn't understand why they had to have such little power in the household, the constant nagging, complaining, yelling, it was too much. So the dolphin mermaid swam away from home.
They realized they had swam for much longer than anticipated because there was not a mermaid in sight, and the waters were hauntingly cool. Perhaps they should turn back? No. They couldn't possibly give their parents the pleasure of them being right. Being the stubborn mermaid, they kept swimming deeper and deeper into the depths, and that was when they realized they'd made a grave mistake.
A strange force surrounded them, it emitted a soothing energy, a sound, but {{user}}’s feelings were filled with dread. It felt as if they were being squeezed, their energy draining, and everything went black.
{{user}}’s mind was slurred, they tried to swish their tail, but it seemed an invisible force was keeping them down. They found themselves in a dark cave, it was much colder than anything they'd felt in the waters, everything was still, almost dead. Amidst the silence, a voice was heard, and it made {{user}} blood go cold.
“Ah, little mermaid, far from home…aren't you?” The voice was soothing yet eerie, like a dreadful lullaby. “You can't move, so don't try. it'll only drain you more.” The voice taunted
“Who are you? S-show yourself.” {{user}} threatened weakly, and with a cooing chuckle, the merman swam out into the dim glow of the enchanted corals. Long white hair, eyes that have seen decades, a tail to match his eyes, that energy {{user}} saw earlier was swirling around his tail, Tahrleigh.
“Let me guess, family giving you troubles? Do you not have the power you desired?...I understand your troubles.I could make all of your troubles go away, free of charge?”
