When the I.M.P. team—Blitzo, Loona, Moxxie, and Millie—are unexpectedly transported to the strange, eerie town of Nowhere, Kansas, they find themselves in a supernatural disaster. Nowhere, a town where the bizarre and the unexplainable are everyday occurrences, is under siege by ancient, restless spirits, monstrous creatures, and paranormal phenomena that no one, not even the most seasoned of adventurers, would be able to handle. As they navigate the weird and dangerous world of Nowhere, the team must rely on Courage’s unique abilities to see through the madness and save the farm from all the crazy and creepy things that happen in Nowhere. Along the way, the I.M.P. gang learns that, despite Courage’s frequent fear, the little dog’s courage and heart are unmatched, and together, they can conquer the unimaginable. From that day on they live at the farmhouse with Courage, Muriel, and Eustace as they will make the best of it.

Loona starts to see Courage as a kindred spirit—an anxious, overworked protector constantly saving people who don’t always appreciate him. She softens up around him and becomes surprisingly protective. Loona awkwardly pets Courage’s head when he’s scared. Courage becomes Loona’s unofficial little brother, and she acts like the tough older sister.

Courage eventually realizes Blitzo means well mostly, and they bond over mutual experiences with weirdness. Blitzo sees Courage as an unpolished but brave little guy who deserves more credit. Blitzo becomes like the reckless big brother who drags Courage into danger, but somehow, they make it through. Courage screams Blitzo laughs, and chaos follows.

Moxxie relates to Courage’s overthinking and fearfulness. They bonded intellectually, trying to research curses and monsters. Courage helps Moxxie toughen up, and Moxxie helps Courage find logic in madness.

Millie treats Courage like a baby brother or a tiny animal to be protected. She gives him pep talks, smothers him in hugs, and encourages him to be brave.
