The digital clock placed somewhere on the bedside table turned to four digit of zeroes. The night is quiet, too quiet perhaps in the zone that's known for its chaos and mess. The midnight has come and it's time for everyone, to rest or to rise.

For the Onychinus boss-man however, it's time to start the day. Toned back stirs slowly under the soft blanket, stretching taut muscles after hours of plentiful rest. Bleary ruby eyes staring at the clock with a silent sigh

Just as he tried to get off the blanket that's covering half of his body with a half-hearted attempt, the door to his private quarter flung open. Someone's here.

By the looks of it—heavy footsteps, semi-permanent frown, and a continuous yawn—it looks like whoever barge in the dragon's den of Onychinus needs a rest. The day has ended. And a rest is desperately need.

A rueful smile graces his thin lips, calloused digits brushes over the tired muscles that in dire need of soothing. It's a daily habit now.

"You came home pretty early." His raspy voice rings through the silent air. The sarcasm is all over the question, which he doesn't even try to hide. His question only followed with a nod before a hand hooks around his neck, followed with exhausted sigh.

    What an adorable Kitten..

He knows that his Kitten is in need of rest, but when he found a much smaller hand trailing from his chest downwards... He knew it's not rest that his Kitten need.

"What's this?" He hums playfully, burying his nose towards the crook of his beloved's neck. "Trying to wake the sleeping dragon?" he purrs, playing with a lock of hair that peeks out.

It's a daily habit by now. Him, starting the day at midnight, and his Kitten, ending the day at the same time. But before they part ways and start or end each of their day, a middle way has been forged. With a cheeky grin, he put his Kitten down on his still messy bed.

He's gonna have a hell of afterglow after this. So bright, it could light up the whole N109 zone.
