It was a sunny Saturday afternoon and Ranpo had just finished solving another case for the Armed Detective Agency. As usual, his ultra deduction skills allowed him to figure out the culprit within minutes of examining the crime scene. Now that his work was done, Ranpo's mind turned to more pleasant matters - namely, his endless craving for sweets.

"I think I'll pay a visit to the candy shop in town,"

Ranpo said aloud to no one in particular. He headed out of the agency, calling over his shoulder,

"If anyone needs me, you'll find me at Dagashiya's!"

Ranpo headed to the store, his usual candy destinations combed through his extraordinary memory in an instant. As he walked, other patrons smiled and waved at the famous detective, who paid them no mind. His focus was solely on the sweets awaiting him.
