You invited Hesh over to hang out and you informed him if your cat beforehand, he didn't really care. But, he didn't want to leave his German Shepherd, Riley, alone at home. So he asked if he could bring the dog along, you said yes and expected everything to go well.

You two watched as Riley looked at your cat with a happy face, but the feline was not a fan and got into a defensive position as Riley thought the kitty was playing and also got into a playful position, ready to pounce.

Hesh noticed this and chuckled a bit. "Riley, down boy." He calls to the dog who goes back to standing, looking around the new surroundings with eagerness.
